Agreement has been signed with the National Library in Rome, in Viale Castro Pretorio, for the shared use of its conference room - already the subject of restructuring and technological adaptation - as a cinema.
While the National Library is being adapted, an alternative location is being sought that is suitable for the projection of 35mm film, which is essential for the films of the National Film Library.

Description
The Cineteca Nazionale collects, preserves and restores a film heritage that, by virtue of the legal deposit of cinematographic works of Italian production and co-production, is enriched every year. It plays a role in Italy and abroad in disseminating, enhancing and promoting this cultural heritage, also through agreements with bodies, institutions, festivals, schools, universities and cultural associations.
The facilities dedicated to non-film materials in the photo and poster library are of importance. In Ivrea there is the Archivio Nazionale Cinema d'Impresa, which collects films from companies, production companies, advertising films and various bodies.
The Cineteca Nazionale is a member of the world's largest association of film archives: the FIAF (Fédération Internationale des Archives du film).
