Description
First news of the building can be found in a Papal bull dated 1186, but probably the construction dates back to the ninth century. It was rebuilt at the end of XVI century based on a project by Ottavio Nonni said Mascherino, and completely restored in 1730. The facade is only one order with a triangular gable.
The interior has a single nave with three niches on each side. In the first niche on the left there is the tomb of Giuseppe Vasi, who was a famous XVIII century engraver. Notable is the wooden ceiling of the end of the XVI century decorated with the coat of arms of Sixtus V.
