The Museum of Mathematics is symbolically dedicated to Numeria (ancient Roman goddess, lady of numbers and quantitative thinking) and has the goal of bringing schools and the inquisitive public to approach the mathematical culture through guided paths that allow the visitor to interact with the exhibited objects. These are ancient Roman calculation tools, polyhedrons from the Graziotti collection (geometric models presented as material realizations of properties of space), plaster surfaces for didactic use from the Klein collection. Lately the Museum was enriched by a new exhibition section due to the donation of a collection of slide rules, instruments by now in disuse, but still fascinating because of their ancient history and cultural value.
